It’s Fall, y’all! The weather’s getting colder and the days shorter, and Peace Love and Happiness has all you need to keep you cozy! Here are 3 little ways PLHC can help you “pumpkin-spice” up your home and style this autumn:
Create a cozy space with Fragrance Candles
Every home should have a fragrance candle, especially in the Fall! Sunlight is getting scarce and the outside is getting all around… spookier. But spending more time inside should still be relaxing and restful. Our 3 picks for fall fragrance candles are:
Charles Dickens from Paddywax
Pick up a book, and light this travel tin and infuse your space with warming notes of sweet cinnamon, clove, and fir needles.
Labdanum & Leather from award-winning Time & Oak Whiskey Elements
Talk about sinking into an old leather recliner with a tumbler and fine whiskey! (In-store only)
Another wonderful fall season scent from Paddywax: Rosewood & Patchouli
Notes of Bergamot, geranium, and Sandalwood will carry you off to the White Cliffs of Dover to sip on a warm cuppa Earl Grey in the breezy sea air.
Rock some cozy socks!Never let those li'l piggies feel cold again! These fuzzy toe warmers do their job and look darn-tootin’ adorable doing it. Anti-slip gripper bottoms keep you safe from accidental slip-ups. But, if you're more into Risky Business like Tom Cruise then you can try some certified slide-across-the-living-room socks, too!
Stay warm with scarves and beanies! We’ve got loads of uber soft and cozy scarves to suit your taste this fall - whether you’re an infinity scarf kind of person, a lover of long and plush, or looking for a classic soft plaid. Don't miss the chance to up-style your cold weather fit with a beanie - we have 'em in every color and shade, with fringe and pom-poms! (In-store only)
What are your favorite Must-Haves for fall? Let us know!
One of our newest PLHC exclusives is perhaps my favorite candle. I never hold it up to someone's nose in store without getting a satisfied "mmmm."
Here's the deal with coconut wax. It's a more eco-friendly alternative to soy or paraffin wax, which are what you find in most average candles. It also burns cleaner and doesn't make your house a smokey mess when you extinguish the candle.
Hear more about it in our latest video.
Big News! It's the new year, and our resolution is to get in shape, so we're working out more! ...Just kidding!
BUT, we are releasing a whole line of athleisure wear in the next weeks. Athleisure wear is one of the hottest trends of the year, and everyone seems to be working out these days. (Or maybe they aren't, but their clothes say they do?) Whether you like to work out or not, you're gonna look good!
There comes a point in plant folklore when a houseplant becomes more than just a plant. It is artwork, furniture, and a talking point. This is the case with the variegated monstera deliciosa. We picked it up from the greenhouse last week and there were only 2 they had EVER had in stock before. So we got one!
The leaves on the monstera are variegated, meaning they have been specially bred to have a splash of color. We've always thought that nature produces art better than people can. Come in and get a picture with it. Trust us, it isn't camera shy!
Started in 2013, husband and wife team Jamie & Riho Lara created Cellar Door Candles. Their candles are based on a dedication to a non-toxic and clean lifestyle. They use a coconut wax and beeswax blend, which is a more sustainable alternative to soy wax.
They do not use plastic for shipping material, only recycled paper/material and re-used cardboard. Essential oils all come from a lavender farm close to their warehouse. All of our packaging, including the glass for candles, comes from the U.S.
