Native to South Africa, Haemanthus pauculifolius belongs to the Amaryllidaceae family. It stands at a modest height of 6-8 inches (15-20 cm), with flowers reaching up to 1 inch (2.5 cm) in length. Its slender, elongated leaves measure around 12–16 inches (30–40 cm) in length and 0.3-0.8 inches (1–2 cm) in width. These glossy green leaves, 1 to 3 per bulb, emerge after its white flowers with yellow tips blooms, its main identification feature, and remain active all year long, keeping the plant evergreen.
