A relatively slow growing calathea with silver centers edged in dark green. Maroon underside. This is not a novice plant, it is quite needy with humidity above 70% and warm conditions or leaves tend to curl. New leaves can tinge red in higher light.
- Light: bright indirect
- Soil: organic but well draining.
- Water: keep evenly moist during spring/summer and a tad dryer during fall/winter.
- Fertilizer: slow release or liquid fertilizer during spring/summer months.
We prefer local pickup/ drop off but will ship. Leaves may curl during transition from low humidity. We suggest placing them in plastic bag upon arrival and warm area to let it acclimate. There will be some slight leaf scaring and imperfection.
