MICROSORUM SIAMENSE
New iridescent species reported from karst limestone of Furthest South Thailand, published in 2009. When grown in suitable condition, Its glossy, pointed fronds are in nice metallic blue color. It is a tight grower spreads slowly via wiry creeping rhizomes.
It requires relatively high humidity to grow well, thus, performs well in most terrarium conditions. Like so many of similar cliff/crevice dwelling species, great care should be exercised to not overwater. Adding a percentage of limestone chippings into the growing mix is recommended; promote growth and leaf color.
