About: An herbaceous bulb with a fat round caudex. Each bulb are ~4-6" round. The are healthy and very firm bulbs. Bulbs will send out 1-3 vines when planted that can get up to a few feet long. Typically grown in SE Asia and used for medicinal purposes but also makes great indoor specimen plants. Plant can go dormant if temperature drops or lack of watering.
- Light: Bright indirect. Morning exposure is great.
- Soil: Well-draining. Mix with small pumice or charcoal. Does not like wet soil as it can rot the bulb.
- Water: keep evenly moist during growing period.
- Fertilizer: during growing season
These plant can remain dormant for a long time. Warm, humid, and relatively moist but not wet succulent mix soil can trigger them to send up a vine (it will want to climb).
Plant will be shipped bare root.
