Pilea has many interesting names, including the Chinese money plant., the friendship plant, and the missionary plant. Pilea peperomioides is notable for its eye-catching green shades and has been popular for many years. It also has unique pad-like foliage that distinguishes it from most other houseplants.

Pilea is one of the house plants with the minor maintenance species. The plant thrives best under bright lights and orient towards the direction of light. It is best to keep the Pilea plant out of direct sunlight. Too much sunlight can cause the leaf to fade and harm the overall plant health. Pilea is quite communicative, making it an ideal indoor plant.

Once the plant starts to droop, it's time to add more water. Asides from its low maintenance, the plant beautifies your space and is easy to grow. It also offers air purification and enhances symbolism.

I purchased the 4" pot size with the thicker, stronger roots. Many of the stems have grown longer with leaves since the purchase, so I recently repotted it into the wall planter. It's looking great so far!

Everyone is so friendly and the plants are wonderfully taken care of. Highly recommended this shop for all your plant needs. Can be pricey but there is a nice rescue plant section AND they have sales pretty often!

Ok, let me preface this by saying that I hemmed and hawed over my order because the shipping seemed a bit high. I ordered on 4/20, with a 20%discount and the shipping pretty much deleted my discount. But OMG! My plants arrived several days later and they looked like they’d been plucked off the shelf 5 minutes ago! They were lovingly packaged and not a leaf was out of place. There was no wilting, breakage, discoloration, nothing. I’ve never received plants in such good condition! I’m so happy with my order and I’m currently saving up for more plants (just bought a bigger greenhouse 😂) Thank you so much for all the care you put into these orders. Review of the terrarium class!
