How do you pack your plants for shipping?
We currently ship using thermal bubble wrap along with compostable popcorn and poly-fil as needed. Heat packs may be ordered as needed. We fully insulate and secure all our plants for safe arrival. However we are not able to guarantee any damages due to weather (extreme heat / frozen temperatures) or courier mishandling.
Why should I pay for next day air?
Currently UPS is guaranteeing next day air service. This mean you will receive your package usually within 24 hours or less. This minimizes stress, delays, and damages from handling. Plants are perishable goods meaning they can be damaged or experience stress during transit. Understand that shipping plants is a RISK that the customer is 100% responsible for. If you are ordering plants that are on your wishlist/ unicorns/ or highly collectible, UPGRADE to NEXT DAY AIR!
Can you explain your shipping fee?
The logistic of shipping can be confusing. Some customers may order just 1 plant, but if you order a pot, various sizes of plants, fertilizer, moss poles, etc., you can understand how it can be a "tetris" puzzle how to fit them all into a box. Hence, our solution to is offer an estimate and refund the balance when we finalize shipping.
Now that we have approached spring, the shipping fee paid is used to either ship USPS priority or UPS 2-3 day, whichever is faster! We always want you to get your plants ASAP! In the cart page when you check out, we have a NOTE section that you can specify how you would like us to ship. You can say, ship fastest or i'm ok w/ usps priority.
Again to clarify, plants are PERISHABLE items and we highly suggest you add next day air buffer to receive it next day. UPS is guaranteeing next day service. If you are comfortable knowing that your plants may be delayed, and may exhibit some damage or stress from transit, then choose USPS priority or UPS 2-3 day air.
Can I request shipping at a later day?
You may request to ship your order up to 7 days after your date of purchase. There is a comment box in your CART to allow for notes and instructions for our shipping team.
I haven’t received a dispatch email/email confirmation?
An automated email is sent with tracking # when your order is dispatched. Please check all folders (spam/junk) as it will come from a noreply email address. To ensure emails reach you, add the domain peaceloveandhappines.club to your safe senders list.
