Develops a large, water-storing caudex, sometimes reaching over 2 feet in diameter. It produces vines up to 12 feet long, which can be trained on a trellis or pruned for a bushier, bonsai-style look.  Seed grown plants can mature in 1-2 years.

  • Soil: cactus mix
  • Water: allow to dry between watering. Mature plants can be drought tolerant
  • Fertilizer: spring
