Mali garnet rough is a rare, untreated gemstone discovered in 1994, prized for its high brilliance and "fire" (dispersion). It is a unique hybrid of Grossular and Andradite garnets, often referred to as "Grandite".

These rough stones can be cut and polished to resemble radiant diamond looking stones.
