Aka Monarch Fern.  Native to Pacific Islands.  You see these along curb plants in full sun.  Stunning when established.  Microsorum scolopendria is a sculptural fern with wide, serrated fronds. It is a perennial fern that prefers tropical, sub-tropical, or monsoonal climates. It can grow in full sun or partial shade, but needs good drainage soil.

  • Light: adaptable
  • Soil: cactus mix
  • Water: keep slightly moist with moderate humidity
  • Fertilizer: slow release
