Aka Jaboticaba Tree is a slow-growing, evergreen tree from Brazil, known for its unique grape-like berries that grow directly on the trunk and branches (cauliflory). The fruit, often called the Brazilian grape tree, has a sweet, gelatinous pulp and a slightly bitter skin, tasting similar to grapes or blueberries, and is eaten fresh, in jams, or as juice. It thrives in warm climates (USDA zones 9b-11) and requires consistent moisture,

  • Light: sun and warm
  • Soil: acidic rich
  • Water: keep moist at all times
  • Fertilizer: slow release

Available in 4" nursery container. Best kept as an outdoor plant to thrive but will adapt to indoors.  Some leaves will be shed during transition.
