Neoalsomitra sarcophylla, also known as the "Himalayan Cucumber" or "Nepalese Cucumber," is a unique climbing vine plant that belongs to the Cucurbitaceae (gourd) family. It's native to the Himalayan region and parts of Southeast Asia.

the large seeds of Neoalsomitra sarcophylla are notable for their unique shape and structure, which enable them to glide gracefully through the air when released from the plant.

The seeds have a papery wing-like structure that allows them to travel long distances on air currents. They have been compared to butterflies or gliders in their appearance and movement.
