Ophiopogon planiscapus ‘Nigrescens’, or Black Mondo Grass, has compact mounds of stunning, black grass-like foliage. Flowers are a light lilac to pink and are followed by black berries in fall. Very easy to grow. Deer resistant.

Ornamental Grasses are low-maintenance and grow well in most soil types. They look beautiful, adding color, height and movement to your garden. Black Mondo Grass is an excellent companion plant with contrasting foliage.

Can be grown indoors in terrariums or as companion plantings.
