Oxalis regnellii, also known as green shamrock, lucky shamrock, or green oxalis, is a plant that is edible, native to South Africa, and has clover-like leaves. It has a sour taste with citrus overtones and is related to sorrel.  May go dormant in excessive heat or winter cold months.
