Begonia chloroneura - 6"
Begonia chloroneura is a gorgeous species from the Philippines. This species was collected at Dalton Pass by J. Atwood in 1987, and was distributed by Marie Selby Botanical Gardens. At one time it was U251. The medium sized leaves are a rich reddish brown with showy chartreuse veins. The leaf blade is covered short red hairs. This makes a magnificent full specimen. It does require extra humidity and is frequently grown in a terrarium.
Care of Begnoia chloroneura:
- Bright, indirect light
- 45 to 95 degrees
- Humidity 60% or more- terrarium recommended
- 10 to 12 in. tall
- Water when top two inches of soil are dry
