Ludisia discolor var. nigrescens, also known as the "Black Jewel Orchid," is a captivating terrestrial orchid cherished for its striking foliage rather than its blooms. It's a variety of the Ludisia discolor species, but distinguished by its deep, velvety, almost-black leaves with contrasting red veins.
