Alocasia clypeolata 'Green Shield' (Alocasia 'Green Shield') is a type of elephant ear that has glossy, waxy, medium green leaves with darker green veins. The leaves can grow up to 30 cm long and sit on thin stems that can be up to 1 meter tall. The plant's name comes from the Latin word Clypeus, which means "shield", because the leaves are shaped like small shields.
