Fluval Plant and Shrimp Stratum is a substrate for freshwater aquariums that is made from mineral-rich volcanic soil. It is designed to stimulate the growth of aquatic plants and is also good for shrimp. The substrate has a porous structure that allows for rapid colonization of beneficial nitrifying bacteria, which provides optimal water quality for shrimp. It also has a light, non-compacting structure that is beneficial to nitrifying bacteria.
Ideal for plant propagation and terrariums.
